Try LG KU250. If I'm not mistaken, it's the cheapest 3G handset there is. Smart sells it at Php 6000; Globe retails it at Php 6250.
My boyfriend owns one. He's very much happy with it. Who wouldn't be? Great phone, 3G, and cheap. I've checked and touched the phone myself, the keypad is just awesome! I also have a some friends who own this unit. I haven't heard any complains about it so far.
If you still prefer Nokia, there's the Nokia 6151 which is what I'm using right now. And it is also really great. I believe it's the second cheapest 3G unit. I think the price is around 7K - 8K.
BTW, both phones have external memory. ;) I think they're actually almost the same. But I really recommend the LG KU250. And before I sound like a sales agent, I'll stop writing now.
